Bay Area native, Nessa Nemir, is a freelance makeup artist with over twelve years in the industry. She received degrees from UCLA in both Film and Italian, before going on to train at the prestigious Make-Up Designory (MUD) in Burbank, CA, where she studied makeup for fashion and special effects (prosthetics, injuries, bald caps, etc). Nessa has a varied creative background, having worked in production, art direction, scenic painting, and as a decorative artist. She spent the first half of her career working in Los Angeles, and New York City, before ultimately landing back in the Bay Area. Her work can be seen in commercials, runway, editorial, corporate portraits, weddings, film and of course, on Halloween! A people-person to the core, Nessa brings her sunny attitude, creativity and unique vision onto every project and thoroughly enjoys the variety inherent in her field and the opportunity to meet and work with new people on each project.
